FIRST HOLY GROUND TALK OF 2020

January 27th 2020

“Gods and Temples at 11000 BC. Can you believe it?”  Trevor Watkins talks about Göbekli Tepe, which a unique site in southeast Turkey where the monumental stone buildings and monolithic sculptures, which date from 11,000 BC, may be humanity’s earliest temples and gods.  Trevor has worked on this period for decades, and has been associated with the research at Göbekli Tepe.   But these claims are problematic…. The talk is at 7pm on Monday 27th January in the Garden Room.  All welcome.
