A memorial Mass for Sr Mary Ninian Averill OP, known affectionately in Edinburgh as Sr Dot, will take place on Saturday April 15th at 12 noon. It will be followed by lunch. Please let Fr Dermot know if you are going to stay for lunch. Sr Dot died in January 2018 at the congregation’s mother house in Stone. Now that the convent in Stone is going to close on Good Friday, the sisters have given us a chalice in memory of Sr Dot.
The Catholic Chaplaincy serves the students and staff of the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University and Queen Margaret University.
